At VK — one of the largest technology companies in the region — I owned the core strategy work behind the AI smart speakers (Capsula) and the broader Marusya voice-assistant ecosystem. My scope covered opportunity discovery, investment assessment, customer development, and go-to-market, plus the unit-wide portfolio, planning, and OKR frameworks that decided where investment went and what metrics we committed to.
My contribution. I translated strategy into launch plans the devices team executed — defining positioning, investment logic, and the distribution model for hardware, which is harder to scale than a software-only push. The smart-speaker line and the Marusya voice ecosystem scaled across the year through both hardware and software channels.
